Membership
Osage County Historical Society was organized in 1964 for preserving our history within a museum with access to the public. In about 1990, we began to gather and index information that would be helpful to family researchers. Our secondary purpose now is to preserve primary and secondary research materials and to encourage genealogical and historical research.
Membership in our society is open and not limited to residents of Osage County. Annual membership (January - December) for individuals or families costs $10. Business memberships are available for $15 annually.
Members receive copies of our quarterly newsletter, The Hedge Post. Our newsletter aims to keep members informed as to current happenings at the museum and research center. Additionally, it includes articles with historical and genealogical interest. Members of the society do not pay the $10 research fee; they pay copy costs only.
